Boison Publications Limited publishes English, literacy, phonics and numeracy books for children from Creche to Primary 6. 49 titles, written and printed here, for Ghanaian classrooms and Ghanaian homes.
Our story
Books written where they are read
Boison Publications Limited is an educational publishing house in Oforikrom, Kumasi. Our books are written by Joseph Boison, with Emmanuel Boison co-authoring the Ideal Phonics, Quicksteps English and Kinder English series.
We are not a distributor reselling somebody else's list. Every title on this site is ours: written, illustrated and printed in Ghana, for the classrooms and homes we live among. When a headteacher tells us a book is pitched too high for their class, that reaches the people who wrote it.
We sell directly — to schools, to bookshops and retailers, and to parents buying a single copy for one child. Orders come in on WhatsApp and a person answers them.
Our mission
Books a Ghanaian child can finish.
A book a child abandons teaches nothing. We keep every title within reach of the child it was written for, and we grade our series properly so that each book asks only for what the one before it taught. Finishing a book is what builds a reader.
Our vision
Confident readers and learners, from Creche to Primary 6.
We want a child who starts with us at Creche to arrive at Primary 6 reading fluently and without fear of a page of text — having been carried there one honest step at a time, by books made in their own country.

Learners
The child holding the book. Everything else follows from whether they can finish it.
Parents
Tell us your child's class and what they struggle with. We will recommend a level, and sell you one copy if that is all you need.
Teachers
Graded series you can teach straight through, with inspection copies so you can judge a book before the class gets it.
Schools
Bulk supply at a discount on quantity, delivered nationwide. More for schools.
Bookshops
Trade discount for bookshops, retailers and distributors, with our retail prices published so you can work out your margin. More for bookshops.
Curriculum
What we do and do not claim
2 of our titles state that they are approved by NaCCA. 5 state that they support the NaCCA curriculum. The rest are published on our own list and carry no curriculum claim at all.
We mark this per title, on the book and on this site, because the three are not the same thing and a school buying for a whole class deserves to know which it is getting.
